Carlos De las Cuevas, Ph.D., M.D., is Full Professor of Psychiatry at the Universidad de La Laguna, Canary Islands, Spain. He has published more than 120 peer reviewed articles in psychiatry reputed journals and is currently serving as member of the Editorial Board for Current Drug Safety (published by Bentham Science Publishers), Patient Preference and Adherence (published by Dove Press Open Access Publisher) and International Journal of Telemedicine and Applications (published by Hindawi). RESEARCH TOPICS Pharmacoepidemiology of Psychiatric Drugs. His research interests and scientific production have Carlos De las Cuevas focused on understanding the patterns of psychiatric drug prescribing, the appropriateness of use of this class of medication, medication adherence and persistence patterns, and the identification of predictors for medication use.
