Since 2000, I have served as Director of our NCI-supported T32 Training Program in Psycho-Oncology Research Training. First established in 1984 and competitively renewed in 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004 and 2009, this training program is recognized as one of the foremost national resources for training new investigators in psycho-oncology. To date, this training program has 103 graduates, 74% of whom have obtained academic positions at leading cancer centers, medical schools and universities. Activity
