Thanks for the heads-up, Rachel. If you haven't yet faxed the comments, then it may actually be easier (and it would definitely make a clearer copy for us to review) if you were instead to e-mail the comments to
[email protected]. I can confirm receipt, if you'd like. If you fax the comments, then they have to go through an additional scanning step that invariably makes a harder-to-read copy, on top of whatever resolution loss occurs during faxing. That said, we can certainly accept the faxed copy if that is your preference. Please let me know if you have any questions, or if there's anything I can do to facilitate your getting the comments to us. Best, Drew -----Original Message----From: Rachel MacDonald [mailto:

>>> "Stuyvenberg, Andrew" 3/16/2010 2:24 PM >>> Rachel - We're accepting comments through April 12. See http://www.nrc.gov/reactors/operating/licensing/renewal/applications/diablo-canyon.html for additional schedule information. The FRN for the comment period begins at 75 FR 4427. I have attached it to this e-mail. Note that the FRN indicates that comments must be postmarked by April 10, though we'll accept them through April 12 in order to 1
provide scoping participants the full 75-day period that we'd intended (the FRN was published two days later than we anticipated). This is 15 days longer than our standard scoping period because we recognize that there is a high level of public interest in this review. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Best regards, Drew
