Broad-based programmes attracted top students



For benefit of students, maintain 2012 arrangements as far as possible (some changes in specific programme requirements)



Some students preferred the option to confirm majors after their 1st year



Selection interviews after HKDSE exams/ after release of HKDSE results

Some students had clear preferences and preferred to choose specific programmes



Enhance liaison with schools and students; more support for students by CUHK School Relations Ambassadors

Conclusion: A mix of broad-based and programme-based admission arrangements provided flexibility and choices to students

Admission Arrangements Combined HKDSE Results 

The best result in the same subject taken by a candidate in his/ her first two sittings of the HKDSE examination will be used for calculation of the admission score.



Some programmes may adjust the admission scores of applicants seeking admission on the strength of lt ffrom more th itti off the th HKDSE results than one sitting examination. Details will be posted on CUHK admissions website in due course.
