David Cameron Community Stage:

The Community Stage was established in 1992 and features outstanding vocalists, dancers and instrumentalists from Tulsa and surrounding communities. Performers of all ages are featured on the stage. Please see the performance schedule for more information.

KidZone:

Tulsa Geosciences Center will be leading the fossil dig again this year and kids can take home what they find! Be sure to visit on Saturday from 11am-2pm to participate in the Bear Clinic presented by The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis and enjoy our new Art Beginnings

Gallery where children aged 12 and under may purchase a piece of art for only $5 on Saturday and Sunday. KidZone is located at 6th and Main on the H.A. Art Strollers:

TulsaKids Magazine invites families to the Mayfest Kidzone for the “Mad Hatter & Art Stroller Parade” Sunday, May 19 at 3 p.m. Families may decorate strollers and riding toys or wear crazy hats to parade through the KidZone. KTUL Meteorologist Andrew Kozak will be our celebrity judge. Prizes will be given for the best decorated hat, the best decorated stroller and the best decorated riding toy or bike. TulsaKids will hold drawings for great prizes after the parade.

Mayquest:

The Rowland Group of Staffing Companies is partnering with Mayfest to host a weeklong, community-wide treasure hunt with a cash prize of $1,500 provided by The Rowland Group. The contest runs May 13-17. Watch Six in the Morning (KOTV, Channel 6) daily in the 7 o’clock hour throughout this week for the clues. Be sure to like Mayfest and The Rowland Group on Facebook to watch the contest in real time and get extra hints toward the next clue! The first person to decode the daily clue and find the secret location will win a Mayfest Prize Pack! Each day’s location provides a clue to the ultimate prize, $1,500 cash.

Samson Plaza hosts the Creative Culture Courtyard:

The Creative Culture Courtyard brings together a taste of New York City street performance art with a touch of Venice beach vibes. This year presents multicultural music playing with a wooden dance floor for dancing.  Drum Circle Thursday Night with Moyo Tribe and always catch Jascha when he comes alive with his Recycled Drum set.  Don’t be surprised if random poetry just goes down and human art installations are just walking around. This is a spontaneous art and dance area for all to enjoy and interact. The Creative Culture Courtyard hours are Thursday – Friday, 11am-2pm, 5pm-11pm, Saturday 11am-11pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.

Food:

Mayfest offers a variety of food choices sure to please any festival guest. Our food vendors offer everything from gyros, corn dogs, sausages, ravioli, funnel cakes and turkey legs to cotton candy and pizza. New this year, check out the local food trucks at KidZone.

Beverages:

Non-alcoholic beverages, including soft drinks, tea, water, lemonade and other specialty drinks, as well as alcoholic beverages including AnheuserBusch beer products and frozen drinks are available at various locations throughout the site.
