We have a number of new classes starting this year, so Please take the time to read our newsletter. Below we have listed dates, events and classes to mark in your diary for 2013.
Latin & Ballroom Beginners' Course A great way for young people to meet friends, keep fit and learn a wonderful life skill. Learn Salsa, Rock 'n Roll, Cha Cha, Samba, Foxtrot and waltz.
Course commences: Monday 18th February at 6.30pm in the Cornwall Park School Hall, Wheturangi Rd, Greenlane. Teenage Pricing - Only $70 for an 8 lesson course.
6 Week Beginner’s course. Learn elegant New Vogue dances to the Slow Foxtrot, March and Viennese rhythms. Commences 13th February 8:30pm at the Royal Oak School Hall, Trafalgar St, Royal Oak.

Ideal for all dancers Stage 5 and above. Tuesday 8:30pm 5th February Royal Oak Studio This class will take on a whole new format for 4 weeks. We will be choreographing Latin American practice routines that can be danced solo to consolidate good technique in the basics of all of the dances. Routines fun to dance to your favourite music and no need for a partner. We will also be working on Ballroom technique, some solo work and some with partners. Sound good to you? Well then this is your class!!!!!
10 lesson concession cards remain at $120 (Concession cards are handy for dance lessons, Party and Practice nights.) Private lessons $35 for a ½ hour or $70 per hour. (Lesson price covers one or two people)

An opportunity to practise your dancing. A relaxed atmosphere with the bonus of teachers on hand to assist you. Sundays 7pm-8.30pm at the Royal Oak Intermediate School Hall, Trafalgar St, Royal Oak. 3rd March - 7th April – 12th May - 16th June - 4th August – 8th September - 13th October - 17th November Admission $12 or use your concession card. Everyone welcome.
Saturday 22nd June - Saturday 23rd November Preparing for the medal tests provides motivation to achieve good quality dancing and you receive excellent feedback on your progress. We have seen the standard of dancing improve as more people put in the time to improve their technique for these tests. Our classes are structured so that at the end of your Beginner's course you are ready to dance for your 2 Dance Badge, at the end of Intermediate you're ready for your 3 Dance Badge and Advanced are ready for your 4 Dance Badge. From there you move onto International Technique medals.
For those who were still attending classes in November & December 2012 Please use the schedule below to determine your 2013 class time. We have tried our best to keep classes on the same night as last year but in some cases this was not possible and we apologise for this. Some classes also have venue changes to nearby halls. If you finished before November please contact us to determine your correct class night and level. To find this year's class, find your November 2012 class in the left-hand column and look across to the right-hand column to see your time and venue for 2013.
