THAT’S A WRAP! LA JOLLA CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE, PRESENTED BY LPL FINANCIAL, CONCLUDES ANOTHER YEAR OF CONCOURS SUCCESS AND LOOKS AHEAD TO 2016! LA JOLLA, Calif. (April 28, 2015) – The 2015 La Jolla Concours d’Elegance concluded its 11th year on a high note April 12th, 2015 with a record number, 15,000+ attendees and the most impressive showcase of cars yet. The astounding automobiles curated by the expertise of a dedicated, all-volunteer committee enthralled enthusiasts of all ages. The event has gained international acclaim in recent years and the effects are seen with the growing number of participant applications submitted. 163 entries in the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance were displayed on the lawn & 68 entries were displayed on the streets of La Jolla Cove for the La Jolla Motor Car Classic ranging from rare classics like the Round Door RollsRoyce from the Petersen Museum and private collections of all-American, fin-flaring, muscle cars and rows of elegant curves from classic Porsche Coupes and Mercedes-Benz Cabriolets. Blue skies over the bluffs of the Pacific Ocean made for perfect weather and clear take off for a rare glimpse of vintage airplanes by Allen Airways. The 2016 La Jolla Concours d’Elegance is on course to bring more surprises to attendees of the coveted spring event.
