2016 Star Educator Award Purpose of the Award: This award is presented to licensed personnel who have done an outstanding and exemplary job in their field. Licensed personnel working on the teachers’ salary schedule, who are members of CCEA, are eligible for nomination. Nominees must have five or more years of teaching experience. Three recipients will be selected to receive this award. One recipient will be chosen from each of the following areas of service: Elementary, Middle, and High School. Using the criteria please provide a one-page description of the activity the nominee is involved in and how it impacts education. You must include three letters of recommendation for the nominee from other members of the staff supporting the nominee. Nominations must be submitted to the CCEA Awards Committee by the end of the business day Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Nomination forms will not be considered without the one-page description of activity or the letters of recommendation. Mail or deliver the completed nomination form and one-page description to CCEA, 4230 McLeod Dr., Las Vegas, NV 89121. School mail may also be used.
