Lake Boga Easter Regatta is renowned for its hospitality, beautiful weather and fantastic yacht racing, boasting features such as: • Lawn to the water • Lawn camping sites at the club • Great facilities • Catering at the club. Racing begins on Friday 2pm and concludes Midday Monday. Regatta is open to all OTB Yachts. Bring your families, for a great social weekend, there is lots to see and do in the area. 1. RULES The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and any National or Class Rules as they apply (except as any of these are changed by the sailing instructions) 2. ELIGIBILITY All competitors must be financial members of a recognized Yacht Club or class association, and hold a current SILVER or GOLD YACHTING AUSTRALIA CARD. The Sailing Committee reserves the right to reject any entry. The prescribed fee must be paid in full before starting.

5. SCORING SYSTEM Low-point scoring system. 6. PRIZE LIST Aggregate trophies will be awarded on the following basis. 5-10 yachts: 1st and 2nd – More than 10 yachts :1st, 2nd,3rd Class winners are not eligible for divisional trophies 7. CLASSES Races will be conducted in individual yacht classes on a scratch basis (5 yachts minimum for a class). Trophies for mixed classes based on VYC yardstick. 8. CAMPING Sailors and guests of the club are invited to camp along the foreshore adjacent to the yacht club by courtesy of the Swan Hill Rural City Council. Fees $25 per adult for the weekend, $5 each for first two children, others free. Camping is not permitted before midnight Wednesday April 4th or after midnight Tuesday April 10th . Under City Council by laws DOGS are not allowed on site. Noise will not be tolerated after 11pm. 9. FOOD AND DRINK Lake Boga Yacht Club has pies, pasties, sausage rolls, and salad rolls for sale. There are gas barbecues for your convenience. Breakfast foods are available Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at our canteen. A barbecue and wine tasting will be held on Saturday night. 10. INSURANCE All boats competing in the Lake Boga Yacht Club inc Easter Regatta shall have third party insurance of not less than

A$5,000,000 or equivalent thereof in any other currency for accident. All owners/competitors who signed the Entry Form are deemed to have made a declaration that they hold such cover. Competitors may be required to produce evidence of such insurance and any competitor not holding this cover shall withdraw their entry. 11. INDEMNITY COMPETITORS SAIL AT THEIR OWN RISK. Injuries to competitors and damage to boats can and often does happen. The Organizing Authority and all parties involved in the organization of the Lake Boga Yacht Club inc Easter Regatta accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury which may occur to any person or property, whether ashore or afloat, as a consequence of participation in the Easter Regatta or otherwise. The Organizing Authority and all parties involved in the Easter Regatta disclaim any and all such liability. The Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions in no way limit the complete and unlimited responsibilities of a competitor for the management and care of a boat she or he may be sailing in the Regatta.
