ELECTRONIC TACHOMETER Model LM10000 All Colors In-dash Installation Instructions FOR USE ON STANDARD AND MOST ELECTRONIC IGNITIONS
IMPORTANT: This tachometer has a new improved meter. The tach pointer may not always reset at zero. This is normal. When the engine is started, pointer will position itself on the correct RPM. THIS INSTRUMENT MUST BE INSTALLED BY A COMPETENT MARINE MECHANIC. This tachometer is factory calibrated to operate on a V6 outboard engine that produces 12 pole/6 pulse per revolution. (Merc, Mariner, OMC, etc.)
MOUNTING 1. Cut a 4 5/8” diameter hole in the dashboard for the tachometer. 2. Connect the tachometer wires as shown below. 3. Secure the tachometer in the dashboard using the brackets, lockwashers and nuts provided.

ELECTRONIC IGNITION
WARNING WARRANTY will be void if connected to coil on MSD ignitions.
NOTE:
This tachometer operated on standard, factory electronic and high-performance electronic racing ignitions, such as Laser II, Hy Fire and MSD. This tachometer is NOT recommended for use on Accel BEI or Laser I ignitions.
