Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport for your morning flight to Incheon, Korea. After arrival in Incheon International Airport, prepare for your transfer to Sido Island and visit the “Full House” shooting set. Feel the drama come alive when you view the beautiful exterior and interior designs, with furniture and rooms that appeared in the drama. Next is the Modo Sculpture Park where sculptor Lee Il-Ho built his “Eroticism Sculptures”, displayed along the beaches of Modo. This park is also the film location of the movie “Time”. DAY 02 SEOUL / YANGJU / GAPYOUNG / YANGPYEONG / WONJU (Buffet Breakfast / Lunch – Grilled Fish Set / Dinner – Pork BBQ)
After breakfast at a local restaurant, transfer to Yangju and visit Daejanggeum Theme Park - the main filming location of “Jewel In The Palace”. Have your cameras ready at Korea’s first drama theme park, located within the MBC Yangjoo Culture Valley. After lunch, head to Gapyoung for the filming locations of “Beethoven Virus”, “Personal Taste” and “Secret Garden”. Be reminded of a rural village located on the shores of the Mediterranean when you enter Petite France. Colorful wildflowers greet you as you enjoy a tour of the Little French Village. Next is “Gyeonggi English Village”, at Yangpyeong - Shinhwa High School setting for “Boys Over Flowers” – its hallways, lobby, and exterior facades. This educational English camp consists of condo-styled dormitories, swimming pool, observatory facilities and more. Transfer to Wonju for dinner before resting for the night. DAY 03 WONJU / APPLEASE KOREA BREWERY / GYEONGJU (Hotel Buffet Breakfast / Lunch – Steamed Chicken / Dinner – Cuttlefish & Pork BBQ)
Transfer to Applease Korea Brewery to learn about apple wine making and receive a bottle of apple wine with your picture and name on it. After lunch, we transfer to Gyeongju and visit the Shilla Millennium Park, where you can enjoy 3 main performances. A theme park integrating both education and entertainment about the history and culture of the Shilla Period, the park’s hotel was featured as the main lead’s house in “Boys over Flowers.” After dinner, check-in to the hotel to rest. DAY 04 GYEONGJU / CHEONGJU / SEOUL LAND / SEOUL (Hotel Buffet Breakfast / Lunch – Your choice at Highway “Food Court”)
After taking in the beautiful cherry blossoms* view at Bulguksa Temple - a UNESCO World Heritage site, we head to Cheongju. After lunch, we stop at Palbong Bakery – the film site of Baker King, Kim Tak Goo. Have memorable snapshots at this bakery, and feel free to buy some breads too! Transfer to Seoul Land, Korea’s first theme park, with a wonderful scenery surrounded by Mt. Cheonggyesan. Have fun with the Big 5 pass, and take in the sights of the Tulip Festival at Seoul Grand Park. Transfer to Seoul for the night. DAY 05 SEOUL (Chinese Breakfast / Lunch – Dolsot Bibimbap & Shabu Shabu)
After breakfast at a local restaurant, head to N Seoul Tower for its renowned observatory, where the panoramic view of Seoul can be seen. Many Korean dramas and movies have been filmed here, and “Boys Over Flowers” is no exception. Next is the Namsangol Hanok Village, comprising of several traditional Korean houses (Hanok). A traditional Korean-styled garden, with a flowing stream and pavilion are also included to maintain the classical Joseon-era feel. After lunch, its shopping galore at Sinsa-dong Garosu-gil and Apgujeong Rodeo Street. Enjoy the splendid spring scenery in the former, coupled with its collection of quaint stores and uniquely bohemian atmosphere. At the latter, stores carry luxury brands to discounted items, as well as accessories and shoes. Rodeo Street has many cafes for a quick shopping break, and celebrity sightings are not uncommon. Head to the largest underground shopping mall in Asia – COEX Mall. Before returning to the hotel to rest, a “Korean Jjimjilbang” experience is a must! Relax in the hot stone saunas of Yongsan Dragon Hill Spa – also a filming location for various Korean television broadcasts and a good place to relax with your friends and loved ones. DAY 06 SEOUL – supper included! (Buffet Breakfast / Lunch – Ginseng Chicken Soup / Dinner – Chinese Cuisine / Supper – Rice Wine and Korean Pancakes)
After breakfast at a local restaurant, head to Changdeokgung Palace - a UNESCO World Heritage Site – the only palace that has preserved the Joseon Dynasty’s original royal architecture. Parts of this site were used to film “Jewel In The Palace”. Behind the palace, you will find an intimate Korean-styled retreat known as the Secret Garden. Next is the Jongmyo Shrine - another UNESCO World Heritage Site – a place of worship for the kings of the Joseon Dynasty, and where memorial services and traditional music are very well-preserved till today. Visit the National Ginseng Center, Amethyst Showcase and The Face Shop after lunch, before heading to Myeong-dong Shopping Street – a massive fashion and cosmetics district. After dinner, catch the all-new Drawing Show and be enthralled by animated 3D drawings, instant dust drawings, glue animation and light drawings, amidst laughter and entertainment! Have a delicious supper of the increasingly popular Makgeolli & Pajeon (fermented rice wine and pancakes), in one of the Hongik University area’s Jujeoms (traditional bars). Top the night off with a quick visit to “The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince” - an old coffee shop remodeled for the drama and sing your heart out in a karaoke session at Edward Su Noraebang* near Hongik University. Fans of “My Lovely Sam Soon” will be all too familiar with this “Noraebang”, and nowadays, a lot of “Noraebang” scenes in Korean dramas and movies are shot here. DAY 07 SEOUL / INCHEON / SINGAPORE (Hotel Buffet Breakfast / Meal On Board)
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy your own leisure time before checking out of the hotel. On the way to the airport, do some last minute shopping at a duty-free grocery shop to buy items like traditional candies, souvenirs, etc.. Before reaching the airport for your flight back to Singapore.
