We have been training divers in Victoria since 1977 and have certified thousands of divers who have enjoyed the wonderful underwater world both at home in Port Phillip Bay and in oceans all over the World. In fact, many have gone on to very successful dive industry careers. So, what is our secret to your success? Simple, we care and we put your training first! Scuba diving is a very safe activity but your safety and enjoyment depends on your training and there is no substitute for spending time with an experienced knowledgeable instructor. Our training centre is unique to Melbourne and boosts an 11 metre pool and a 5.5 metre training tank, both heated for your comfort and to enhance your learning. At Dive Plus we teach the skill of diving not just diving skills and your Dive Plus International Open Water Diver certificate will mean what it is meant to mean – “You will be a diver and not just a person who has completed a dive course.”

The Fine Print: Terms and Conditions for Dive Plus Scuba Courses For the purposes of these terms and conditions “Dive Plus” refers to Dive Plus Pty Ltd trading as Dive Plus (ABN 65 144 967 831) and “the enrolee” refers to the person or persons referred to in the enrolment form or is in procession of a relevant voucher desiring to partake in the course of diving provided by Dive Plus where “the course” refers to the specific course of diving selected by the person representing the enrolees referred to on the enrolment form. Prerequisites for open water training 1. All parties hereby named on the enrolment form acknowledge that they understand they must undergo a medical examination according to Australian Standard AS/NZ4005.1 prior to booking a course and failure to produce a certificate of medical fitness to scuba dive 14 days prior the commencement of the course will result in forfeiture of all monies paid to Dive Plus for the course. For a diving doctor near you go to www.spums.org.au and if you live in Melbourne, search Victoria. Note: Diving medicals are valid for 12 months. 2. All parties hereby named on the enrolment form acknowledge that they can swim 200 metres without resting and unaided and can stay afloat for at least 10 minutes immediately after swimming 200 metres and all parties further agree that they are not entitled to a refund should they be unable to demonstrate the above when asked to do so. 3. All parties hereby named on the enrolment form acknowledge that they are at least 14 years of age and understand that if under the age of 16 years they will be issued a Junior Scuba Diver certificate which can be upgraded when they reach 16 years of age. Note: A Junior Scuba Diver can only dive with a parent or guardian or dive master or instructor. Extra tuition and missed lessons or dives All parties hereby named on the enrolment form agree that certification is only issued at the discretion of Dive Plus upon satisfactory demonstration of relevant skills and knowledge and further accept that extra tuition and or dives may be required at the discretion of Dive Plus to meet certification requirements and all parties acknowledge that they will be responsible for any extra charges incurred in reaching the relevant certification standard including missed lessons or dives and not being able to adhere to the advertised course timetable. Lost and damaged equipment All parties hereby named on the enrolment form acknowledge that they will be responsible for the cost of replacement or repair of equipment provided by Dive Plus for their use during the duration of the course. Insurance is available. Failure to commence selected course or failure to complete the course All parties hereby named on the enrolment form acknowledge that Dive Plus has no obligation to an enrolee who fails to commence or complete the course in the prescribed time and acknowledge that failure to commence the selected course or failure to complete the course will result in forfeiture of all monies paid to Dive Plus for the course. Changing selected course dates All parties hereby named on the enrolment form acknowledge that they must give at least 14 days notice if they wish to change the nominated commencement date or course format or they will forfeit all monies paid to Dive Plus for the course. Enroller’s responsibilities The person enrolling in the course or enrolling a group into a course is responsible for ensuring all named persons are aware and accept the terms and conditions of enrolment. Balance of fees All parties hereby named on the enrolment form acknowledge that the balance of any fees owing for the course is due on the first training session of the course. Refunds All parties hereby named on the enrolment form acknowledge that Dive Plus has no obligation to refund any monies paid for the course. Timetable All parties hereby named on the enrolment form acknowledge that Dive Plus reserves the right to vary the timetable and the advertised dive locations subject to numbers, weather, tides and current. Transport All parties hereby named on the enrolment form acknowledge that they are to provide their own transport.
