A Critical Textual Understanding: The Reading Process of Wolfgang Iser Roshan Morve Abstract
The critical theory provides the method how to understand the text through the reading. Therefore, language, their signs, discourses, and units of sentences are the most prominent things while we are reading the text. It needs to deal with the reading process of the reader and the text’s critical and methodological explanation by Wolfgang Iser. It needs to study Iser’s critical essay: “The Reading Process: A Phenomenological Approach” (1972) to understand the interrelation of readerwritertext. He has given two reading processes are (i) First Reading, and (ii) Second Reading. The first reading is different from the second and the
