Christchurch City Council Shirley-Papanui Ward Electing 2 Councillors Aaron KEOWN Independent - City 1st - No Party Politics My principal place of residence is in the Shirley-Papanui Ward area. I am also standing for the Shirley/Papanui Community Board and the Canterbury District Health Board. As a current councillor for Shirley/Papanui I'm very proud to have got the best for our ward and the city, here are some of the highlights we achieved this term... The cycleways network encompassing the entire city including the route from the city through St Albans, Papanui, Redwood and Belfast. We got the children of Belfast a new skate park. We got the Spencerville community the security of tsunami sirens. The installation of the new Cranford St footpath has finally linked Mairehau/St Albans with Papanui. We started the very successful edible garden awards. I kept my promise of free parking at the hospital and we've established free parking across the entire city for the disability community. And I've instigated Plan Bee. It's been my pleasure to do this for the ward and with your vote I look forward to achieving a whole lot more. Contact me anytime:
