Welcome.     AgileCamp  2017  is  a  1-­‐day  conference  held  in  four  cities  across   North  America  including  Silicon  Valley,  New  York  Metro,  Dallas,   and  now  Portland,  Oregon.     AgileCamp  brings  together  the  Agile  community  for  a  day  filled   with  learning  about  Enterprise  Agile,  including  Business  Strategy,   Agile   Practices,  Lean  Startup,  and  Design  Thinking.  This  year,  we     will  feature  3  Keynote  speakers  and  20  sessions  Tracks  packed  with   rich  and  valuable  content  presented  by  Agile  experts.  Our   objective  is  to  bring  together  Agilists,  from  novice  to  expert,  to   advance  Agile  knowledge  in  the  community.

What  Makes  AgileCamp  different?   AgileCamp  fosters  an  environment  where  attendees  can  actively  engage  with  the   experts  giving  the  talks,  and  is  unique  in  its  regional  focus.    Rather  than  one  large   conference  annually,  we  focus  on  regions  of  the  country,  where  agilists  can  come   together  and  learn  from  local  peers  and  expand  their  local  Agile  network.    AgileCamp   is  dedicated  to  creating  local  networks  to  builds  a  strong  Agile  community.    After  the   conference,  attendees  have  the  benefit  of  a  larger  local  Agile  network.     Event  Format   The  conference  begins  with  an  opening  Keynote  speaker,  followed  by  4-­‐6  parallel   sessions,  hands-­‐on  workshops  and/or  talks.    Following  the  morning  tracks,  there  is  a   lunch-­‐time   Keynote,  followed  again  by  parallel  sessions,  and  a  closing  Keynote  at  the     end  of  the  day.    Talks  are  then  followed  with  an  evening  social  event,  where  our  goal   is  to  have  participants  network  to  get  to  know  one  another.     Past  Speakers   AgileCamp  has  featured  several  top-­‐tier  speakers  including:   • David  Marquet,  author  of  Turn  the  Ship  Around,  Captain  (retired)  of  the  USS   Santa  Fe   • Jeff  Sutherland,  Co-­‐creator  of  Scrum  and  author  of  Doing  Twice  the  Work  in   Half  the  Time   • Ken  Rubin,  author  of  Essential  Scrum   • Jeff  Gothelf,  author  of  Sense  &  Respond  and  Lean  UX   • Jurgen  Appelo,  author  of  Management  3.0   • Richard  Sheridan,  author  of  Joy  Inc.  and  founder  of  Menlo  Innovations   • Luke  Hohmann,  author  of  Innovation  Games   • David  Anderson,  author  of  Kanban   • Mamie  Jones,  SVP  at  Intuit   • Mark  Randall,  VP  of  Creativity  at  Adobe   • James  Baresse,  CTO  of  PayPal   • Mark  Cauwels,  CTO  at  Capital  One
