Airline & Airport Operations Leaping Ahead - Aviation Conferences by Europe Congress Prague, April 2014: Based on the success of last year’s Flight Operations Efficiency Conference, Europe Congress is

pleased to announce that this year; there will be two editions of Aviation Events. The first one will be based on Flight and Airport Operations, which will be held at the Prague Airport on 9th and 10th of June, 2014. The second of these will be conducted around the topics of Aviation Safety and MRO and will be held in Istanbul on 13 th and 14th of November, 2014. The conferences will see some of the most experienced names from major airlines and aviation authorities discussing trending topics, recent advances, sharing knowledge and experience in flight and airport operations. The concept which lies behind the Flight and Airport Operations Conference was the result of several productive debates held last year during the Flight Operations Efficiency Conference (organized by Europe Congress in Istanbul in September 2013 and opened by the CEO of Turkish Airlines, Temel Kotil), in particular, during the panel discussion titled ‘Building a Dialogue between Airlines and Airports‘. Experts from top airlines and aviation industry providers reflected on the importance of improving the communication between air and ground operations. The conference will examine the synergistic relationship between airlines and airports and explore means of enhancing operational excellence. Ground and Flight Operations are indeed interdependent and it is becoming crucial within the aviation industry to optimize this mutual engagement. With less than two months to go before the Flight and Airport Efficiency Operations Conference, preparations are in full swing. The 2 day event will be chaired by Jean-Jacques Speyer, former Senior Director Fuel& Flight Efficiency Consulting at Airbus and current Professor in Aeronautics, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Lecturer IFSA, Paris and Jan Vana, Director of WheelTug plc. and will feature prominent representatives from Air France, Air Berlin, Vueling and Aéroports de Paris among others. Attendees will be offered a flexible agenda with different sessions covering the most crucial areas concerning Flight and Airport operations. Some of the topics that will be touched upon through a mix of Speaker and Q&A Sessions and Panel Discussions among others are ‘The Centrality of Fuel Management in the Flight Operations Panorama: Saving Costs While Enhancing Innovation’, ‘ATM and ATC’ and ‘Better Equipped, Better Served: The Crucial Contribution of Technology’ and ‘Flight and Airport Operations Innovation and Connectivity‘. The programme will also include exhibitions and meetings with service providers; networking breaks on both days, a cocktail reception and a gala dinner. Considered as a political, cultural, and economic centre of central Europe and housing the Vaclav Havel Airport- one of the best developing airports according to IATA, Prague is regarded as an ideal location to host a worldwide event, which brings together Management and Operational Heads from various airlines and airports from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the Americas and Africa. The attractive venue, exclusivity of the event defined by a limited number of decision makers from within the industry and the tailor-made and interactive programme guarentee that the Flight and Airport Operations Efficiency conference is a precious asset to the entire Aviation industry.
