AP kids shine in CBSE Class XII exams : TIMES NEWS NETWORK Hyderabad: For 18-year-old Sruthi Chaitanya, Monday was a day of double celebration as she was declared the topper of her school, P Obul Reddy, with 97.4%. As the Class XII Central Board Secondary Examination (CBSE) results were declared on Monday, girls in the state registered a 99.97 pass percentage, a slight edge over the boys who had a 99.96 pass percentage. “I want to study criminal psychology. It is a field that has always fascinated me. I’m hoping with my scores, I will get an opportunity to explore this field further,” said an elated Sruthi, speaking from Chennai. Aishwarya Sankardass, who scored 96.4% in the commerce stream from Chirec Public School, plans to pursue a career in fashion technology as she secured 98% in the fashion studies paper. “I have already secured a seat in the National Institute of Fashion Technology (Nift) and am waiting for further counselling rounds,” she said. For Rahul S from Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur, who scored 95% in the Science stream, it was all about being passionate about his subject. “I love science and the course gave me the opportunity to pursue my passion. In the next ten years, I see myself as a pioneer in aerospace entrepreneurship,” he said.
