B. Introduction It would give us immense pleasure to have continued ties with you. On 4th May, 2013 we are organizing an Alumni Meet of the pass out students of NIT, Kolkata. The meet shall be organized on the said date at Institute Campus from 3:00PM onwards followed by Dinner with all the batches starting from 2004 to 2012 pass out. We are sure that you will certainly mark this day in your calendar to walk down the memory lanes. Since many of you have been away from this place for many years, it will be wonderful to see old friends after long time and foster new ties as well. You are our valued ambassador and we would want your continued association with Narula Institute Of Technology. You are an integral part of NIT fraternity, present achievements and future hopes.

In closing, once again we want to WELCOME you to the Alumni Association! Please know that all of us in the association and are committed to assisting you in every manner possible to make your work and experiences at Narula as positive and rewarding as possible.

C. SUMMARY The Alumni Association-Narula Institute Of Technology cordially organised a one day program '1st Alumni Meet' on 4th May, 2013 at college premises. A registered association of former students of the Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata, INDIA. Apart from serving as a base for information about the alumni, it initiates programs and organizes events important to alumni, their alma mater....More Then 290 alumni of various years from 2004 to 2012 was present.

D.Welcome Address An alumni association is an association of graduates or, more broadly, of former students (alumni). In the fraternities, and sororities often form groups with alumni from the same organization. These associations often organise social events, publish newsletters or magazines, and raise funds for the organisation. Many provide a variety of benefits and services that help alumni maintain connections to their educational institution and fellow graduates, most associations do not require its members to be an alumnus of a university to enjoy membership and privileges. Additionally, such groups often support new alumni, and provide a forum to form new friendships and business relationships with people of similar background. Alumni associations are mainly organised around universities or departments of universities, but may also be organised among students that studied in a certain country. In the past, they were often considered to be the universities In membership of an alumni association often goes without saying alumni associations are getting more and more popular as universities receive less money from governments and depend more on networking within civil society for funding.

As he is the Chairman of JIS Group, he has seen the NARULA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY to grow. It is very close to his heart He used to visit the campus regularly along with his wife. He supervised everything from cutting grass to the well being of the students. From this vision he addressed the ALUMNIS with affection to be flourished more in future. Also he shared his idea that he who plants mango tree, never testes the fruit but other enjoy the garden and taste the fruit. By this word he liked to mention that all students are his beloved and he only can give blessings to all of them nothing in return.

F: President Message: Life time achievement Award to the father & chief Architect of Engineering Education in West Bengal Sardar Jodh Singh. We Salute the man who prospered inspire of extreme poverty, Under the Chairperson of JIS Group (An Educational initiative) has developed & Promoted Engineering.(Various disciplines)e.g .BCA,MCA,MBA & Dental Collage . He is also one of the pioneer in Dairy, Pharming, Transport & the no of Other Initiative, He is a person who always prefers to be hundred miles always from publicity of any kind about him. Although a freedom fighter in true Sense, but he never claimed any recognition or financial benefit from the Govt. In the social arena too, he has lot of contributions.in his white kurta panjabi he looks like a saint a humble disciple of Gurunanak. He is not only the guardian of his family but also the guardian of all of us- The Entire JIS Group of initiative . We once again salute this silent worker of god & wish him more hundred years of glorious, Peaceful & healthy life. Long Live Sardar Jodh Singh & JIS Group.
