AMP Capital expands global infrastructure team AMP Capital has made senior appointments to its global infrastructure team. Manish Aggarwal has been appointed as Investment and Operations Director, based in London. Mr Aggarwal is responsible for a range of activities spanning transaction execution, due diligence, asset management and managing finance and business operations. He has over 17 years’ experience in principal investments, corporate development, restructuring and financial control functions in Europe and Asia within the international banking industry. He has worked at Lloyds Banking Group in London and ABN AMRO Bank in Singapore, London and Amsterdam. In addition, Jake Houseman has been appointed Senior Vice President in the North American infrastructure team, based in New York. Mr Houseman will play a senior role in AMP Capital’s origination and asset management activities across the Americas. He has extensive experience across multiple sectors including infrastructure, covering deal origination and principal and portfolio company investments. Mr Houseman joins AMP Capital from Macquarie Capital where he spent seven years in Sydney and New York. Prior to this, he held roles with Trafalgar Corporate in Australia, Merrill Lynch in the United Kingdom and Putnam Investments in the United States. AMP Capital Head of Infrastructure Europe and North America Boe Pahari said: “The appointment of Manish and Jake is part of our continuing commitment to develop AMP Capital’s global infrastructure operations and capabilities.” Mr Aggarwal and Mr Houseman report to Mr Pahari. Mr Aggarwal joined AMP Capital in April and Mr Houseman joined in July.
