AMTRAK Pacific Surfliner® The 6 Amtrak trains serving all 8 COASTER stations will operate on a regular schedule on New Year’s Eve. The FREE New Year’s Eve service DOES NOT APPLY to these AMTRAK trains. VALID COASTER fare REQUIRED.
The SPRINTER will have extended hourly service starting at 9:03 p.m., with the last departure from Escondido at 1:03 a.m. and from Oceanside at 2:03 a.m. to allow for connections with the final COASTER trip.
Consumption or possession of open containers of alcohol is prohibited on all NCTD vehicles and property. For trip planning and transit information, call: (760) 966-6500. Persons with hearing and speech impairment, call: 711. MTS bus/Trolley will NOT have free service on New Year’s Eve, however the Trolley will run extended service. Purchase a $12 RegionPlus Day pass by selecting “Current promotions” from the ticket vending machines to include unlimited service for one day on COASTER, SPRINTER, BREEZE bus, MTS bus and Trolley.
