User’s Guide AutoWatch Android Application Phone Setup In order to download and install the AutoWatch Android App, your phone must be configured to allow non‐Marketplace program installations. Follow these basic steps to properly setup your phone: 1. Go to your phone’s SETTINGS page, and select APPLICATIONS 2. Make sure that “Unknown sources” is checked

Installation To download the AutoWatch Android Application, visit the following URL on your Android phone or scan the QR Code shown below: http://www.autowatch.com/install/android/ Requirements:
Android 2.2 or higher Front facing camera Internet access (WiFi or Cellular data access)
Click on the DOWNLOAD link to begin program installation. Once the download has been completed, install the program and grant permissions for the application:

Launching the Application One the app is installed on your mobile device, open the AutoWatch app:
To begin, you’ll need to enter your AutoWatch Shop BackRoom username and password. If you are not sure of this information, please contact
[email protected] or call 877‐977‐6473. After entering your credentials, the app will remember your username and password the next time that you launch the program.

Home Screen The home screen provides all of the basic functions of the AutoWatch Android app. The following functions are available from the home screen:
View Vehicles Select a vehicle from your list of AutoWatch claims and view the claim details. Also, you may take pictures and update the repair progress stage from this list of vehicles. Take Pictures This function will launch a barcode scanner view that will allow you to scan and identify a vehicle from the AutoWatch window ID sheet displayed in the vehicle. Once identified, you may take photos of the vehicle. Refresh Vehicles Refresh your list of vehicles from the AutoWatch system. View Upload Queue View the list of images being sent to the AutoWatch server.
View Vehicles From this screen, you may select a vehicle (by repair or RO number), and see a portion of the claim details. To select a vehicle, click on the RO drop‐down box and select a vehicle from your list. If a new vehicle does not appear in your list, return to the home screen and press the “Refresh Vehicles” button. At this time you cannot create a new vehicle in the AutoWatch Android App.

Taking Photos There are two ways to identify a vehicle in order to take photos with the AutoWatch Android App.
Scan a vehicle ID sheet barcode Select the RO # from a list of claims
Scanning ID sheets: 1. From the home screen, select “Take Pictures” 2. A screen will launch with a red line in the middle. This is the barcode scanning screen. Place the AutoWatch barcode in the center of the screen as shown:
3. Once a good barcode is found, the correct vehicle information will be loaded. Set the correct repairs stage for the vehicle.

Once you click on the new repair stage, the data is immediately updated in the AutoWatch system and is available to the vehicle owner through the consumer web portal. 4. Next, click the “Take Photos” button.

6. If you are satisfied with the photo, click on the “Use Photo” button. If not, click on the “Discard Photo” button. 7. Take as many photos for the selected repair order as you’d like. 8. When you are finished taking photos for the selected vehicle, click on the “Scan Next Barcode” button. Click to shoot the next vehicle

Once all photos are taken for a vehicle, the AutoWatch App will begin uploading photos in the background. This will allow you to continue shooting photos even while the app is sending photos to the AutoWatch server. To view the progress on sending photos, click on the “View Upload Queue” button from the home screen. You’ll see a list of photos being sent to the server: Once the photos have been sent by the AutoWatch app, they are immediately available for viewing by your customers and insurance partners.
