The LIFE Fitness Program of the Department of Kinesiology is looking for fall & spring employment of lifeguards. The lifeguard position would start September 11th and go through December 8th. Preference goes to candidates planning to continue working with the department through the spring semester. Will consider all applicants. Regular lifeguarding hours are: MWF 7:30am- 8:20am Tu/Th 5:10pm-6:00pm

Lifeguard Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service. 2. Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. 3. Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. 4. Maintains appropriate roster reports and sign-ins. 5. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. **Only apply if you are available during most of our aqua aerobic shifts.
