Who should I vote for? At the election, all European voices must be heard, especially those forced to migrate because of the economic crisis and the austerity programs imposed on their countries by the Troika. European institutions are driving through a neo-liberal agenda of public spending cuts in all EU countries. The Merkel government is significantly responsible for these policies. The result is economic depression and real suffering for poorer people in all EU countries.

A strong left vote in the EU elections will punish Merkel and can help to change the political direction within Europe. In Germany, only DIE LINKE offers a credible alternative vision for Europe to neo-liberalism and the consequent rising debt, insecurity and unemployment.
