UNITED STATES HISTORY II SUMMER WRITING ASSIGNMENT – Assassination Vacation by Sarah Vowell INSTRUCTIONS: This summer you were required to read Assassination Vacation by Sarah Vowell and take notes (HANDWRITTEN ONLY) on each Chapter. Using this read and notes taken you are going to address the statement below and write a five paragraph essay. NEEDED: MLA heading (Note sample provided), title, typed (12 point type / Times New Roman) - double spaced, thesis sentence (Underlined), three body paragraphs and a conclusion. This essay will be written in third person – no I or you in this writing. The thesis sentence with the points that will be supported – represent your opinion without stating it is your opinion. The thesis will contain two to three prongs.
