CITY OF TRENTON DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES DIVISION OF HEALTH - ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICE The Trenton Division of Health, Animal Control Office will be sponsoring its free rabies clinics operations at 72 Escher Street, Trenton, NJ on the following dates
Monday, January 14, 2013 Monday, January 28, 2013 10:00 am – 2:00 pm For DOGS ONLY Friday, January 18, 2013 10:00 am – 12:00 noon For CATS ONLY
Proof of residency is required (i.e. up-to-date driver’s license, recent utility bill showing current address, passport with current address, or dog license renewal notification from Vital Statistics Office). In order to receive a 3- year vaccination, owners must bring their previous year’s record as proof. All dogs must be on a leash or in a carrier. If dog is aggressive, it must be muzzled, or owner may be denied services. Cats must be in a carrier. Dog are required to be licensed by January 31, 2013. Staff from Vital Statistics will be available at each Rabies Clinic to license your dog so that you do not have to make a separate trip to the Vital Statistics office at City Hall. Fees for licenses are $12.00, if dog is spayed or neutered, otherwise $15.00. An additional late fee and court summons will be issued to owners that fail to obtain the appropriate rabies shot and dog license by January 31, 2013.
