Orders of the Registrar in file of even no dtd 24.01.2012 ORDER Choice Based Credit Semester System and grading has been introduced in the U.G curriculum in affiliated colleges of the University with effect from 2009 admission onwards and regulation for the same implemented vide paper read 1st above. As per university order read second above orders were issued implementing the syllabus of BA course in Functional English under Choice based credit semester system in affiliated colleges of the University with effect from 2009 admission. Vide U.O read third above the Core book prescribed for Core course IV Communicative Grammar ie ‘Hewings Martin Advanced Grammar in Use’ was replaced with Leech,Geoffrey and Jan Svart Vicks’ ‘A Communicative Grammar of English London Longman 1998’ and the prescribed book for BA Functional English under CCSS(U.G) was implemented with effect from 2011 admission subject to ratification by the Academic Council. As per paper read 4th above the Academic council resolved to ratify the action of the Vice Chancellor in having implemented the Core book prescribed for Core course IV ‘ Communicative Grammar ie Leech,Geoffrey Jan Svart Vicks ‘A Communicative Grammar of English Longman 1998 instead of ‘Hewing’s Martin ‘Advanced Grammar in use’ in affiliated Colleges of the University with effect from 2011 admission. Sanction has been accorded by the Registrar to make U.O read third above absolute. Accordingly the U.O read above is made absolute.
