CHAPTER 6 • FAMILY INVOLVEMENT AT HOME DURING THE EARLY YEARS
Backpack #4: Good Days and Bad This activity offers a variety of experiences for parents and children. You will need to provide a copy of Judith Viorst’s book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. You’ll also need to include a disposable camera. Be sure to remind the children not to take more than two photographs when instructed to do so. Tell the students that after the film gets developed, they will be able to add photos to the stories they wrote about their families.
