ABSTRAK “PENERAPAN METODE NUMBER HEAD TOGETHER UNTUK PENCAPAIAN KOMPETENSI PEMILIHAN BAHAN BAKU BUSANA DI SMK MA’ARIF 2 SLEMAN” Oleh : Mila Astriana Sari 08513241007

Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) mengetahui dan menganalisis penerapan metode Number Head Together (NHT) dalam mata pelajaran pemilihan bahan baku busana siswa kelas X di SMK Ma’arif 2 Sleman; 2) mengetahui, mengungkap dan menganalisis partisipasi siswa kelas X dalam belajar pemilihan bahan baku busana sesuai kesempatan pakai dengan metode NHT di SMK Ma’arif 2 Sleman; 3) mengetahui, mengungkap dan menganalisis peningkatan pencapaian kompetensi pemilihan bahan baku busana siswa kelas X di SMK Ma’arif 2 Sleman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang menggunakan model penelitian dari Kemmis dan Taggart. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X busana B di SMK Ma’arif 2 Sleman yang berjumlah 40 siswa. Obyek penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Number Head Together untuk pencapaian kompetensi pemilihan bahan baku busana pada siswa program keahlian tata busana di SMK Ma’arif 2 Sleman. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan: (1) catatan lapangan untuk mengungkap proses pembelajartan dari awal sampai akhir, (2) observasi untuk mengetahui partisipasi siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran, (3) dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian secara konkrit, (4) tes pencapaian kompetensi untuk mengungkap kompetensi siswa berupa tes esai. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen catatan lapangan, lembar observasi, dan tes pencapaian kompetensi menggunakan validitas logis dengan meminta pertimbanagan tiga ahli (judgment experts) dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan antar rater. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Number Head Together diterapkan sesuai dengan sintak pelaksanaan metode NHT yaitu: pembentukan kelompok, pemberian tugas, diskusi, presentasi. Partisipasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran pemilihan bahan baku busana tergolong dalam kategori sangat tinggi, partisipasi terdiri dari 7 indikator yaitu: (1) mengajukan pertanyaan, (2) menjawab pertanyaan, (3) mengemukakan pendapat, (4) membantu teman yang mengalami kesulitan, (5) melaporkan hasil diskusi kelompok, (6) ikut serta dalam diskusi kelompok, (7) sukarela menyediakan alat tulis dalam kegiatan diskusi kelompok. Pencapaian kompetensi siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II meningkat cukup signifikan. Kompetensi pada pra siklus 55%. Siklus I 75% atau 30 dari 40 siswa mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Kompetensi siklus II 100% atau 40 dari 40 siswa telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Kompetensi meningkat dari 75% menjadi 100%. Artinya ada peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan hipotesis penelitian yang berbunyi ” metode NHT dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dan pencapaian kompetensi pemilihan bahan baku busana siswa program keahlian tata busana SMK Ma’arif 2 Sleman”, dapat diterima. Applicaton Of Number Head Together Methods For Achievements Of The Competence Of Raw Material Selection Clothing In SMK Ma'arif 2 Sleman By: Mila Astriana Sari 08513241007

This research aims to: 1) identify and analyze the application of Number Head Together (NHT) methods in subjects selection of raw materials fashion class X at SMK Ma'arif 2 Sleman, 2) know, expose and analyze participation of class X student in learning material selection raw occasion wear clothing appropriate to the method of NHT in SMK Ma'arif 2 Sleman, 3) know, uncover and analyze the increase of achievement in raw material selection competency fashion class X at SMK Ma'arif 2 Sleman. This research is a classroom action research model of Kemmis and Taggart. The subjects of this study were students of class X fashion in SMK Ma'arif 2 Sleman, amounting to 40 students. The object of this research is the application of number head together methods for achievements of the competence of raw material selection clothing of students majoring in fashion at SMK Ma'arif 2 Sleman. Data collection technique used: (1) field notes to reveal the learning process from start to finish, (2) observation to determine the participation of students in participating in learning activities, (3) documentation to obtain concrete data in the study, (4) achievement test competency to reveal the students' competence in the form of an essay test. Validity and reliability tests of the instrument field notes, observation sheets, and achievement test competency using logical validity by asking for consideration from three experts (Expert judgment) and reliability testing used antar rater. Data analyze techniques in this research using descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the method applied in accordance Number Head Together with NHT methods syntactic implementation are: the formation of the group, giving assignments, discussions, presentations. Participation of students in participating in the selection of teaching materials classified in the category of fashion is very high, participation consists of seven indicators are: (1) asking questions, (2) answer the question, (3) an opinion, (4) help a friend in trouble, (5) report the results of the group discussions, (6) participate in group discussions, (7) voluntary provide stationery in group discussions. Achieving competency of students in the first cycle and second cycle increased significantly. Competence in the pre cycle 55%. Cycle I 75% or 30 of the 40 students achieve mastery learning. Competence second cycle of 100% or 40 of 40 students have achieved mastery learning. Competence increased from 75% to 100%. That is an increase from cycle I to cycle II. It can be concluded that the research hypotheses reads "NHT method can improve the participation and achievement of competencies selection of raw materials fashion fashion students vocational skills program Ma'arif 2 Sleman" acceptable.
