Baltimore Community Block Party 1) Times of participation ¨ The event takes place from 10am until 3pm on June 3, 2018. ¨ All participants are asked to be open the entire time. ¨ The Baltimore Community Block Party is a rain or shine event. We will relocate vendors and all activities to space inside in the event of a major weather event. In the event of Rain, you will have the option to request a full refund, or you can choose to set up indoors for a 50% discount. 2) Booth ¨ Each artist and vendor will receive one (1) 6ft table, 2 chairs and space in which to show their work / display their product or service. Vendors are highly ENCOURAGED to supply their own pop-up tent or similar small booth covering, as last year got quite hot and there are no additional shade structures. Additional tables and space are available on a limited basis – please note on page 1. ¨ Artists and vendors must supply their own necessary fixtures & equipment for the display and/or sale of their products and/or services. ¨ NO electricity is available ¨ Artists and vendors are responsible for setting up, maintaining, and tearing down their own booth. The Baltimore Community Block Party or JCC does not have supplies or labor available to assist booth holders. Please make sure you pack/plan accordingly as the table can be far from the parking. ¨ Participants must supply their own tools. The Baltimore Community Block Party will not have tools available. ¨ Booth placement is assigned. ¨ All participant setup must be done between the hours of 8AM and 9:45AM. Specific set-up times will be assigned and emailed prior to the event. Event begins at 10AM. 3) Food and Beverages ¨ No alcoholic beverages may be brought into or sold at the event. Food and Beverage vendors ¨ Food and beverage vendors are responsible for carrying their own permits and insurance, and are responsible for adhering to all codes, laws and ordinances pertaining to their business. Food and beverage vendors must list "JCC of Greater Baltimore” as additionally insured. ¨ Food and beverage vendors must carry current kosher certification. Please submit a letter of certification with this application. 4) To All Participants ¨ Organizers of The Baltimore Community Block Party reserve the right to approve and/or reject vendor applications. Vendor applications will be accepted on a case-by-case basis and approvals given in an effort to maintain the highest quality, variety and appeal of products. ¨ No walk-in vendors, services or participants are allowed. All participants must be pre-registered. ¨ Signs are permitted only in your assigned space. No additional signage is permitted on-or-around the grounds. ¨ Active solicitation outside your booth is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, handing out materials on the grounds and placing fliers on cars. Information on advertising to JCC members at a discounted rate is available to vendors-please inquire. ¨ Please help promote this event and your participation of Facebook and Twitter. In addition, printed promotional information will be provided to vendors closer to event date. ¨ No excessive noise, PETS, or other live animals are permitted. I agree to protect, indemnify, and hold harmless The Baltimore Community Block Party and the JCC of Greater Baltimore, from and against any and all causes of action, claims, demands, suits, liability or expense by reason of loss or damage to property or bodily injury to any person, including death, as a direct or indirect result of use of any rented or occupied booth space, or in connection with any action or omission of the rental who shall defend any of the aforementioned business or personal entities in such cause of action or claim. My signature on page one of this agreement confirms acceptance of the above.
