Bear’s runny honey cake Ingredients 100g soft butter

175g self-raising flour

2 tbsp caster sugar

½ tsp baking powder

5 tbsp runny honey

1 tsp cinnamon

2 eggs, beaten

1 tbsp water

Method Preheat the oven to 190C/375F/Gas mark 5. In a large bowl, beat together all the ingredients until well mixed.

Mmmm! These honey cakes are Bear’s favourite treat!

Spoon into a greased baking tray or cake tin and bake for 30 minutes or until well risen and firm/springy to the touch. Leave to cool and cut into slices, or serve warm with cream. Delicious!
