Boyle is also a starting point for ‘The Miners Way & Historical Trail‘ a 118km network of walking paths which wind their way through adjoining parts of Counties Roscommon, Leitrim & Sligo. Boyle ‘Historical & Heritage Walking Trail’ is a sign-posted walking tour that weaves through the history of Boyle, it includes the birthplaces of Maureen O’Sullivan & Margaret Cousins and a Workhouse Famine Memorial.
