APACHE CHIEF BB 00-6-1 (M) 105 30 46 500 A consistent producer of show quality blooms on long stems. The ovate perianth segments are smooth, flat and of a distinct orange colour which shows from bud opening. The lightly ribbed, cup shaped corona is orange/red and has a crenate edge. A much talked about flower at the NDS SI show in 2010 where it should have been a Premier - the judge said “I just missed it”. Premier 2o.r (grown by Bill Cowie) at the NDS SI show 2011. Pedigree includes – Stylish, Tourist, Apache Maid, and Creag Doubh. Much sort after but Sold Out for 2012.. $100.00 each. Offsets $35.00 each
2w.p ELIZABETH MAY BB 3-04-2 (LM) 105 35 45 400 A strong growing white and deep pink that catches the eye with its boldness and colour. Broad, spreading, ovate perianth forms a good back for the wide, 3/4 length, cup shaped corona that develops a full roll at maturity. Very strong plant and excellent neck. Named after my mother in law. Bred from Aimee Joy x Dailmanach $45.00 each
2y.yor LOYAL KNIGHT BB 3-06-2 (M) 110 25 47 500 Clear and pleasing, but nothing exceptional in colour but has all the other qualities of a great show flower. A strong grower, stout stem, excellent poise and consistency makes LOYAL KNIGHT worthy of its name. The broad, ovate, mid yellow perianth has excellent substance and texture. The even, expanding corona finishes with a half roll and is yellow at the base to orange and orange/red at the mouth. Bred Redlands Too x BB 186/21 (Kiwi Moon x Some Day) $45.00 each
