The receptionist will need to book a BSL interpreter from Sign Solutions: Telephone: 0843 178 0773 Email: [email protected] Fax: 0843 178 0782 BSL Video interpreter: signsolutions.uk.com/contact-signlanguage-interpreter The hospital must make the interpreter booking, however the patient is able to check with the hospital or with Sign Solutions to make sure the booking has been confirmed. Sign Solutions ‘Interpreter Live’ BSL video (24 hours / 7 days service) will be available in some hospitals soon. More information to follow soon.

The interpreter can only be booked by the health provider. However the patient can check with the provider or with Action on Hearing Loss to make sure the booking has been confirmed.

If you have a preference for a male, female or specific named interpreter then please let the receptionist know. Please try to provide the names of at least 3 of your preferred interpreters in case your first choice is not available
