Electric Pulltarps

Electric Pulltarps® Systems are designed for longer applications where spring tension alone is not enough to return the tarp. The electric motor feeds the tarp out as you pull and then retracts the tarp back in.

How to Operate

Flip the switch at the rear of the trailer and pull the tarp all the way out over the tailgate. Flip the switch again to reverse the tarp and secure the pullrod under the tarp return ramps. To retract the tarp, reverse the switch to release the pullrod from the tarp return ramps. Turn the switch to rewind the tarp back into the housing. Hold the pullrope to guide the tarp as it retracts.

Semi-Automatic Pulltarps® Systems are easily upgraded to steel or aluminum Manual Arm Systems. Manual Arm Systems are great for heaped loads because the tarp is lifted up and over the load. The arms are available in bent or straight configurations.

Automatic Arm Upgrade All Semi-Automatic Pulltarps® Systems are easy to retrofit with steel or aluminum Automatic Arm Sets. Tarp Tamer’s fixed roller holds the front of the tarp down to prevent material from blowing out. The Tarp Tamer can be used with Pulltarps®, Manual Arm, and Automatic Arm systems. Part # 501-0701

The Asphalt Load Climber is rated for a maximum heat deflection of 495 degrees fahrenheit. The Asphalt Load Climber’s rollers lift the tarp up over the load and can easily be added to your pullrod without modifying the tarp. For Pulltarps® and Electric Pulltarps® Systems only. Part # 501-0913

Open System Wind Guard
