VOTING HOW TO VOTE
THE VOTING SYSTEM At RUSU we operate a single transferable vote (STV) system of voting. Under STV candidates don’t need a majority of votes to be elected, just a known ‘quota’, or share of the votes, determined by the number of people who cast a vote and the number of positions to be filled.

UNDERGRADUATE SCHOOL REP
Undergraduate School Reps represent the student voice on academic matters within each school. They sit on the School Board for Teaching and Learning. They lead and support a team of Undergraduate Course Reps within each school. Together, they work to ensure student voice is being heard by the University and positive changes are being made throughout every school. They also act as a key contact with the Union and liaise regularly with the RUSU Education Officer and the Academic Representation Team.
