Enterprise Business Solutions, Inc. (EBS) Multimedia Teleconferencing Qualifications EBS has the qualifications and capabilities to perform IT/VTC support services work. Our highly qualified video engineering team is well versed in the area of videoteleconferencing (VTC) with current and past performance from contracts with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) since 1995. Specifically, EBS’s role is to provide DISA’s Global Information Grid (GIG) Engineering (GE3223) with system engineering expertise, conduct research on state-ofthe-art network architectures, and to test and evaluate the latest in video advancements such as H.264, SIP, H.460, H.239, H.235, video streaming and archiving. In addition to this, EBS’ engineers provide system engineering and Tier III support for DISN Video Services. This support includes:  Evaluation of technology feasibility  Vendor capabilities for compatibility within Real-Time Services (RTS)  Development and evaluation of test plans  Development and verification of user scenario-based VTC system test scenarios

 Review, rework, and retest accreditation and certification results (with COTS vendors API)  Integration testing of the Voice-overSecure Internet Protocol (VoSIP) Pilot  Multimedia collaboration, and  ISN Video Services service implementation

“Secure VTC PROVEN” EBS assisted the DISA Combat Support in the preparation and/or review of the DVS implementation strategy identifying all critical tasks and workflow associated with all other DVS-related test and implementation plans. At DISA, EBS is tasked to contribute towards numerous test and development projects, including:



Providing Network-Centric Information Providing system solutions, and systems hardware and software to Technology, networking, telephony, satisfy the requirements for and security, voice, video and data interoperability, compatibility, and communications Commercial-off-theresource sharing, in support of Shelf (COTS), Contractor Furnished DISA’s GIG. Equipment (CFE), and Government Furnished Equipment (CFE) products.

EBS’ Relevant Past and Current Ex perience PAST Since 1995, EBS has been providing daily system engineering, technological PERFORMANCE

advancement, and Level III technical support to the DISA Network Services for the DVS-G program. The DISA Network Services division, which is part of the Global Information Grid (GIG) Combat Support unit, is responsible for managing and overseeing VTC operations on the Defense Information System Network (DISN). EBS provides direct support to DISA Network Services division in the design, system engineering, and development of maintenance procedures, application of firewalls, encryption, and security solutions for a multilevel security video service.

Labs EBS’ DVS engineers operate and manage one Classified and one Unclassified lab at DISA. EBS’ engineers have designed and established a test bed to emulate the Global Video Operation Center (GVOC) and the Alternate GVOC (AGVOC) as a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) site for failover capabilities and recoverability testing.

Equipment EBS’ engineers oversee both the production and the Tier III test lab environments. EBS’ engineers are extremely familiar with Tandberg video equipment such as the MPS and Codian Multipoint Control Units (MCUs), the Tandberg/Cisco Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) Platform Solutions and the MXP series of codecs. EBS’ engineers are also experts in other video products such as Polycom’s MGC, CMA, Radvision’s Scopia iView and ECS series; the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace products, and others. EBS’ engineers possess the knowledge of all Type I encryption devices including, but not limited to, the KGs, KIV-7, and KIV-7M. In addition, EBS’ engineers are Cisco-certified and possess in-depth technical knowledge to engineer and configure equipment such as the Cisco routers, Catalyst switches, ASA firewalls, network management elements, and all servers-based related products.

Tier III Support Functions EBS’ engineers currently provide procedures for testing equipment and software patch solutions. The Information Assurance and Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) are managed by EBS Information Assurance (IA) engineers in the Tier III for lab assets using the Vulnerability Management System (VMS) database. EBS’ Tier III engineers address escalated tickets that Tier I or II cannot resolve through their troubleshooting process and problem solving procedure. If a patch or a fix can resolve the issue, then Tier III engineers will test the fix in the lab and follow the Change and Configuration Management (CCM) process. Server images and baseline configuration files and documents are backed up and stored by the Tier III lab. Tier Level Support EBS can staff any level of technical support from Tier I to Tier III. EBS provided Tier I, II, and III support on our contracts with the U. S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), the U. S. Army National Guard (ARNG), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and DISA. For DISA, EBS provides Tier III support for the DISN Global Solutions (DGS) videoconferencing services. EBS provides engineering expertise for the latest in video advancements such as H.264, SIP, H.460, H.239, H.235, video streaming and archiving, and others for DGS’ technology insertion.
