Category: Building Operations PART-TIME BUILDING OPERATOR – MATTAMY ATHLETIC CENTRE (Toronto, ON) APPROX. 8 – 16 HOURS A WEEK. $14.00/hour

Job Summary: Spectra Venue Management is currently seeking a part- time Building Operator for the Mattamy Athletic Centre for approximately 8-16 hours a week at an hourly rate of $14.00. The Mattamy Athletic Centre located at Church and Carlton houses a variety of sports and entertainment events including Ryerson Varsity Athletics.

Job Functions / Areas of Responsibility:  Operate building systems in order to satisfy event and customer requirements.  Coordinate event logistics as assigned including set ups and tear downs.  Be able to lift up to 50lbs, sit, stand and walk for periods of time.  Undertake minor janitorial and maintenance responsibilities.  Load and unload material.  Advocate safe work practices and customer service.

Qualifications:  Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.  Ability to work evenings and holidays approx. 8 – 16 hours a week.  An ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction.  Consistently adheres to all Health & Safety policies/ procedures.  Demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness and reliability.  Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
