CAVS QUICK FACTS • The Cleveland Cavaliers will begin a four-game homestand, beginning tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers for the second of four regular season matchups. The two teams will complete their season series with two more contests (March 1 at CLE and April 6 at PHI). • In the first meeting, the Cavs defeated the Sixers 113-91 at Wells Fargo Center on Nov. 27. In that victory, six players scored in double figures (James-30, Wade-15, Green-14, Love-13, Frye-12, Smith-11) for Cleveland, who also had a 57-30 edge in bench points. Offensively, the Cavs had 25 assists (11 turnovers) and shot 15-37 (.405) from beyond the arc. Defensively, the Cavs held the Sixers to an opponent season-low 36-96 (.375) shooting from the field, including just 3-28 (.107) from three-point range. That was the lowest three-point percentage allowed by the Cavs in a single game since Feb. 20, 2015 (.063, 1-16). • Dating back to Nov. 9, 2013, the Cavs are 13-1 against the Sixers and have won each of the last 10 meetings, which is their longest active win streak over a single opponent. Over those 10 contests, the Cavs have won by an average margin of 10.3 points (105.1-94.8). Defensively, Cleveland has held Philadelphia to .435 shooting from the field (.326 3FG%) and forced 17.0 turnovers (20.6 points off) during that span. • Since the 2015-16 season, the Cavs hold a 34-8 record against Atlantic Division opponents (14-4 in 2015-16, 16-2 in 2016-17, 4-2 in 2017-18). • Cleveland has won 7 straight games at The Q and have made nearly half of their field goal attempts during that stretch (.496 FG%, 283-571). Since March 25, 2014, Cleveland is 52-1 at home when shooting at least .500 from the field (4-1 in 2017-18). • With 102 points scored last night in Indiana, the Cavs have now reached the century mark in 19 consecutive games, which is tied for the 2ndlongest 100+ point streak in franchise history (19, 12/2/88-1/11/89). • The Cavs have made at least 10 three-pointers in 15 straight contests, just one shy of tying the team record for consecutive games with 10 or more threes (16 twice, 10/25/16-11/29/16 and 3/9/16-4/5/16). • LeBron James has shot at least .500 from the field in 13 straight contests and in 24 of 26 games this season. Overall, he’s connecting on .585 of his attempts, which ranks 7th in the NBA. Against the Sixers on Nov. 27, James recorded a double-double with 30 points (15 in the 1Q) on 12-22 (.545) shooting, a 3-7 (.429) clip from deep, 14 rebounds and six assists in 31 minutes. In 10 games against the Sixers since 2014-15 (all wins), he is averaging 26.6 points (.500 FG%), 8.0 rebounds and 9.3 assists in 34.4 minutes (also seven double-doubles, one triple-double). • Dwyane Wade ranks 8th among all NBA bench players with 12.3 points in his 22 appearances as a reserve. In the Nov. 27 win at Philadelphia, Wade finished with 15 points, four rebounds, five assists and two blocks in 25 minutes off the bench… • Over the last 6 games, Kevin Love is averaging 24.2 points (.506 FG%, .425 3FG%, .826 FT%) and 11.5 rebounds in 28.0 minutes per game. • CAREER MARKS & NBA HISTORY: J.R. Smith (1,826 3FGM) needs 2 three-pointers to pass Kobe Bryant (1,827 3FGM) for 12th all-time and 5 triples to move past Chauncey Billups (1,830 3FGM) for 11 th place on the league’s career three-pointers made list. Channing Frye (993 3FGM) is 7 threepointers away from 1,000 for his career. LeBron James (10,709 FGM) needs 41 field goals to pass Hakeem Olajuwon (10,749) for 9th all-time in NBA history.
