THE CENTRAL LOCKING TRIGGER WIRE IS USUALLY FOUND IN THE DRIVER’S KICK PANEL. VOLATGE CHANGES BETWEEN +12V AND GROUND WHEN LOCK POSITION CHANGES. NEW VOLTAGE REMAINS UNTIL LOCKS ARE MOVED BACK (USUALLY THICK GREEN OR THICK BLUE) CENTRAL LOCKING PULSE TIME MUST BE SET TO 3 SECONDS -REFER TO ALARM/ IMMOBILISER INSTRUCTIONS IF CENTRAL LOCKING OPERATES IN REVERSE, SWAP THE “87” CONNECTIONS.

ABSOLUTELY CAN ONLY BE USED ON OLD 4XR SYSTEMS.

BY REPLACING THE STANDARD MICROCONTROLLER, THE 4XR MODULE WILL BE CAPABLE OF SENDING DUAL DOOR CENTRAL LOCKING SIGNALS. NB: The passenger door actuators may burn out if a standard CPU is used by accident. To check - ensure the NEG-OUT wire outputs a ground only when the secondary button is pressed.

Wires name changes: CENTRAL LOCKING CONTROLLER

*** AUX becomes CDL SENSE. CDL SENSE is used to ensure passenger doors are locked and unlocked appropriately. ** Neg out when armed becomes PASSENGER UNLOCK. When the second button on a remote is pressed, the module will unlock and send a negative down the PASSENGER UNLOCK wire.
