September 21, 2016 Dear CW Families, I look forward to seeing everyone at Curriculum Night tomorrow! 6th grade is from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. 5th grade is from 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Please go directly to your child’s home block teacher. Encore staff will be available in their classrooms. Today was an exciting afternoon for our school. We kicked off our annual school magazine fundraiser! This is an annual tradition at CW and is our only “school-sponsored” fundraiser of the year. Money we raise goes directly to our school. Examples of how we use the money are: funding field trips, purchase items to use in the classroom, provide financial assistance to students for field trips, STEAM Club, and to pay for assemblies/guest speakers! This fundraiser helps bridge the gap from the funding we receive from the state. I would not ask for your support in this if it truly did not impact students at CW. I know many families have already supported our PTO through their donation form and this is so appreciated. This CW fundraiser is completely separate from our PTO and allows us to provide on-demand funds for students at CW! There are 3 ways to participate: 1. Reach Out Booklets – Our goal is to have everyone complete a booklet and turn in by Friday, September 23! This is the easiest way to participate! 2. Bill Me Later - Fill out order forms; COLLECT NO MONEY; Turn-in order forms; customers are invoiced. Keep the pink order form as receipt 3.
