On this date, the administrative law judge issued the Final Initial Determination ("ID") on the question of violation of section 337 of the Tariff Act, as amended, 19 U.S.C. § 1337. A public version of the ID will be available wlthln 30 days. As explained in the ID, the administrative law judge determined that a violation of section 337 has occurred in the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, or the sale within the United States after importation, of certain network devices, related software, and components thereof with respect to asserted claims 1, 2, 8-11, and 17-19 of U.S. Patent No. 7,162,537; asserted claims 6, 7, 20, and 21 of U.S. Patent No. 6,741,592; and asserted claims 5, 7, 45, and 46 of U.S. Patent No. 7,200,145. A violation of section 337 has not been found with respect to asserted claims 1, 14-15, 29, 39, 63-64, or 71-73 of U.S. Patent No. 7,340,597; or asserted claims 1, 5, 6, 9, or 18 of U.S. Patent No. 7,290,164.
