2016 Business of the Year The Sierra Vista Chamber Annual Awards Gala was held on April 28th at the Thunder Mountain Activity Center. This spectacular event was themed 50’s Glam. Cocktail hour was not to be missed with visits from Lucy and Ricky Ricardo, Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe. And performances by Elvis and Frank Sinatra. Hope you didn’t miss the opportunity to grab a picture with these 50’s icons in the photo booth and enjoy the cocktail of the evening “chambertini”. Following a plated dinner, we recognized the outgoing, current and newly elected members of the board, as well as hearing from the outgoing chair, Jack Blair, of SSVEC and incoming chair, Brian Barkdull, of American Southwest Credit Union. Our Ambassador of the Year for 2016 is Randy Sueskind. Ambassadors of the year is awarded to the most active Ambassador. Thank you for representing the Chamber so well, Randy.
Small Business of the Year went to The Landmark Café. Thank you, Pam Anderson, for your tasty contribution to our community. Large Business of the Year was awarded to Sierra Vista Ace Hardware. Big contrats to long time Chamber members, Les and Katherine Orchekowsky.
