Change of Ward As a result of recent legislative amendments, the City of Toronto’s 2018 municipal election will be conducted under a 25-ward boundary model. The nomination period for the office of Councillor and School Board Trustee has been extended for two additional days. Instructions: Candidates wishing to continue to run for Councillor or Trustee in the 2018 municipal election must complete this form indicating the new ward in the office for which they wish to be nominated.  File this form in person or by an agent (may not be faxed or emailed) at Election Services, City Hall, 100 Queen Street West, 1st floor, North or 89 Northline Road.  Present acceptable identification showing name and qualifying address at the time of filing. A candidate who does not file this form by the close of nominations will be deemed to have withdrawn from the 2018 municipal election, and their name will not appear on the ballot.
