VISION STATEMENT OF DISTRACT PARTNERSHIPS WITH UPLIFT Uplift Education seeks to collaborate with interested independent school districts (ISD) for the benefit of public students in North Texas sharing and leveraging each organization’s best practices to show what is possible for all students when intentional collaboration occurs. SUMMARY The Charter/ISD Partnerships Project Manager will work closely with members of Uplift Education Central Management Office and the respective interested ISD to facilitate the successful design and implementation of specific collaborative efforts that fulfill the vision of opening a partnership school. He or she works closely with key stakeholders at the organizations to define, establish, and implement the terms of the partnership agreement and support the opening of the ‘school within a school’ for the expected school year. This person will also support other specific collaborate initiatives as defined over time. The Charter/ISD Partnerships Project Manager will build systems and processes, relationships, and communication plans to ensure that the partnerships between Uplift and the ISD are mutually beneficial and long- lasting. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitates activities at the start of new partnerships to build trust and sense of team between participating organizations Facilitates conversations regarding the scope of the partnership and the setting of desired outcomes for the stated planned school year opening Works with both partner organizations to create a Steering Committee and joint working groups Manages the joint working groups to ensure completion of tasks and responsibilities, including the creation and execution of the partnership agreement, including implementation plans for each supporting department Fosters collegial relationships among partner organization’s staff to support our mutual activities and goals Manage relationships with stakeholders from both organizations and assists when difficult conversations arise Resolves and/or escalates project-related problems in a timely fashion and makes constructive suggestions for change; communicates difficult or sensitive information Establishes and maintains project plan, reports progress to key stakeholders and ensures deliverables are met Maintains detailed records of decisions and meeting notes throughout the time of the partnership
Sets agenda, plans for, and leads regular Steering Committee meetings to provide updates to leadership of both partner organizations Regularly evaluates the effectiveness of partnership and assesses, including seeking feedback from key stakeholders, and makes recommendations accordingly Creates project related metrics, balanced scorecards, dashboards and other documents that facilitate quantitative analysis Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately Work with partnership organization’s communication teams to develop external campaign and share key elements of partnership and successes (as they occur over time) Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B.S.) from an accredited four-year university and experience managing projects is required. 2 – 5 years of Project Management experience. Change management experience and the ability to facilitate decisions are imperative. Experience in education either inside a traditional ISD or charter school is a plus. COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including advanced features of Excel, possess the ability to use basic office equipment and the ability to learn and use other software as necessary. LANGUAGE SKILLS To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to read, analyze, and apply common sense understanding and to carry out instructions in written or oral form and be able to set priorities. This individual must possess the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel, students, and parents. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
