organo-molybdenum compounds S 5600 Coordination Chemistry of 2,6-Diphenylthiophenol. Syntheses and 24 - 191 X-Ray Crystal Structures of Some Molybdenum and Rhodium Complexes with . sigma.- or η6-Phenyl-Metal Interactions. — The synthesized bis(2,6-diphenylthiophenolato)-Mo complex (III) contains one thiol phenyl substituent η6-bonded to the Mo atom. The η6-arene ligand is labile and is reversibly replaced by CO. Replacement of this ligand also occurs with bipyridine (IV), phenanthroline, and Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2 to give six-coordinated Mo complexes of the type (V) and the trigonal-bipyramidal diphosphine derivative (VI), correspondingly. Structures of the Mo complexes (III) and (V), and of the prepared dinuclear thiolate-bridged Rh complex (IX) are determined by X-ray analysis. — (BISHOP, P. T.; DILWORTH, J.
