Timberlake. Publisher: Pearson – Benjamin Cummings. Exams and Course Grading: Two midterm exams – 30 % each Final – cumulative - 40 % Students are required to attend each lecture and are responsible for recovering all material presented during any missed lecture. Attendance will be taken at EACH CLASS.

No make-up of any midterm or the final exam is allowed. No exams will be dropped in determining the final grade. NO EXCEPTIONS. NOCHANGES.

It is HIGHLY recommended that all the suggested problems of relevant chapters be completed. As well, doing more problems to enhance the understanding of specific topics is desirable. It is virtually not possible to do even reasonably well in the course if a significant portion of these problems are not completed. No cell phones allowed in class, especially during exams. All personal belongings (including cell phones) are to be placed in your backpack and the backpacks are to be left in front of the classroom during exams. No bathroom visits during exams so take care of things before you start the exam.
