Citizen Science Attitude Survey for Student Participants

To gauge changes in attitudes toward science, this survey should be administered before and after students participate in the citizen science unit. For ease of data analysis, consider transferring these statements into a web-based survey tool. Strongly Agree 1. Science is one of my favorite subjects in school. 2. Science can help me to make better choices about various things in my life (e.g., food to eat, car to buy). 3. Much of what I learn in science classes is useful in my everyday life today. 4. I get excited to find out that I will be doing a science activity at school. 5. Science helps me to make sensible decisions. 6. The things I do in science have nothing to do with the real world. 7. Science helps me to work with others to find answers. 8. I would like to have a science job when I’m older. 9. Learning science helps me understand about the environment. 10. Science will help me understand more about worldwide problems. 11. Science has nothing to do with my life outside of school. 12. Experiences in science help me to learn with a group. 13.
