What is Storefront view? The Storefront view allows the user to add whichever applications they use regularly onto their working desktop for easy access. (e.g. Word, Outlook, Concerto, etc.)
Accessing your Applications/Desktops
To access or add your applications quickly Click Apps
To add applications to your Storefront desktop Enter name of application (e.g. Outlook) in search box as below:
One click on the found application will add it to your Storefront desktop. This same procedure can be used to add any application you have permissions to use.
Note: When adding applications, if possible, select those with NEW after name to ensure you are working in the new Citrix environment.
A tick indicates that it should be on your apps panel
Another option is to click on
which will give you list of the applications menu to look through.
Windows Explorer is also available to add to your Storefront desktop:
To remove any application from your desktop, Right click on icon and select Remove.
Working in My Desktop view Select your desktop: Click on Desktops to open your choice of My Desktop or Standard Desktop
Access the NEW Citrix desktop using My Desktop icon.
Access to original Standard Desktop using Standard Desktop icon
This will open a new session in a new frame using the old server. Therefore this will be slower to open and use. The standard desktop will open showing black background as usual. Applications will be accessed using the old server as well.
