College Division The Rock College Ring Information What are the different metal choices? Jostens offers a variety of metal choices including white and yellow gold, Silver Elite®, Solaris Elite™, and Lustrium®. Gold - Jostens offers gold in 2 colors and 3 karat qualities: Yellow Gold - Because of its durability and lasting value over time, gold is a wise investment. Gold has been the standard for jewelry for over 4000 years. White Gold - Has the same lasting qualities and value as yellow gold, but is composed of a different metal. Metal Purities 18K: - 75% pure gold, 25% metal alloy. 14K: - 58.5% pure gold, 41.5% metal alloy. 10K: - 41.7% pure gold, 58.3% metal alloy.

Solaris Elite™ - This radiant yellow 6K metal alloy is beautiful and affordable. We've combined durability and affordability to create our exclusive yellow 6K alloy. Silver Elite® - A precious metal alloy primarily composed of silver with elements of palladium and gold, coated with a rhodium plating. Metal choices Continued….. Rhodium Plating - A member of the Platinum metals group. Rhodium is a silvery, metallic colored precious metal. It is an extremely hard material and is highly resistant to corrosion and it is used extensively in the fine jewelry industry. Rhodium provides protection for Silver Elite®, coating it to help prevent tarnish and scratches. It is very durable and prevents skin oil from dulling the ring. Rhodium is most commonly plated on white gold and sterling silver jewelry.

Lustrium® - A non-precious metal alloy that is silver in color. It is a hard and durable metal. Lustrium will react to oxygen and thus may require additional care and cleaning.
**Installment Plan: Jostens Credit Card Installment Plan allows you to make 4 equal payments on your credit card with no additional interest fees from Jostens. Your first payment will be charged to your credit card upon receipt of order. Successive payments will be charged every 30 days until your payment is complete. $50 deposit due at time of order. Balance billed in 4 equal monthly installments. A $15 holding fee will be added to invoice. Ring production begins once 75% of the balance due is paid and generally takes 6 weeks (production time varies). Ring ships only if paid in full. How to care for your Jostens jewelry To preserve the beauty and luster of your jewelry, wash with a mild detergent in lukewarm water. Rinse, then dry with a soft, clean cloth. Do not use any type of brush, sharp instrument or rough cloth for cleaning. For any sterling silver-based products, should your jewelry begin to demonstrate signs of tarnishing, it may be easily removed with a fine brand of silver cleaner applied with a soft cloth. To protect your jewelry from permanent damage, avoid any contact with harsh acids and agents such as chlorine. The effect of harsh acids/agents is permanent. Be sure to remove your jewelry before coming into contact with harsh agents. Some commercial jewelry cleaners may contain these harsh chemicals, use of these products are not recommended.

WARRANTY PROGRAM: Your ring is automatically protected against theft and loss for FOUR years. For an additional $29.95 plus tax, you can protect your investment for TEN years from date of purchase. Offer only available at time of purchase.
College Lifetime Limited Warranty The following services will be performed for the original owner of this ring: • Your college ring may be resized at any time free of charge if in resizable condition. • Jostens will restore the original finish on your ring free of charge. • Any defect in materials or workmanship in either the simulated stone or ring that is present at the time of original delivery will be repaired or, at Jostens option, replaced with the current school design without charge (diamonds and precious stones are not covered). • Should your curriculum or date of graduation change, Jostens will replace your ring with your year of graduation and degree and current school design for the same school and comparable value at no charge. • If, through normal wear, your ring becomes worn beyond your satisfaction, it may be exchanged for a ring of current design and comparable value at Jostens current remake charge. Call 1-800-8547464 for quote. • The gold reclamation value of your Jostens 10k, 14k, or 18k gold ring may be used as a credit toward the purchase of a different Jostens College Ring at any time. The credit will be based on the current world gold price at the time of purchase of the new Jostens College Ring. • Your Jostens College Ring Lifetime Limited Warranty is void if any work is performed on the ring by anyone other than Jostens. • TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
