Learner levels explained
Our level 2 hairdressing students are intermediate level students, with a solid foundation of knowledge and practical hairdressing experience within the Salon environment. Level 3 learners have completed level 2 and have developed the skills and knowledge to progress onto an advanced level of training. In addition to their College training they must work a minimum of 3 hours per week. This develops their professional experience, and ensures they attain a diverse set of advanced skills within a range of industry settings. Students are taught to the highest level of technical and practical ability at the College and are encouraged to be independent within the salon environment. However, learners are always supervised by fullyqualified staff members who support students to ensure a high quality service at every visit to our Salons.
